Welcome Pastor Chelsea Page
Pastor Chelsea is a native of northern California. She was raised as a progressive Catholic and did lay ministry as a faith-based activist prior to discerning her call to the ministry.
Chelsea earned her BA in Peace and Conflict Studies at UC Berkeley and continued her theological education at
Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge
Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley
Pastor Chelsea was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 2019 and has served as Associate Pastor at a UCC church in Salt Lake City and as Pastor at an historic ELCA Lutheran Church in Ogden UT.
Chelsea has extensive experience in a number of faith traditions and is very much at home with Lutheran theology and Lutheran liturgy. She appreciates and enjoys the richness of our liturgy and the variety of our worship settings.
At a personal level, Chelsea is thoughtful, insightful, caring, and relatable. She and her spouse Pegasus have two children – Lyra (3) and Kinley (1).
Pastor Chelsea holds office hours on Mondays from 10 to 12 at Uncommon Coffee in Essex Center and Fridays from 10 to 12 at Good Shepherd. She works remotely at other times so please don't hesitate to reach out to her! Contact information: 802-404-2746 (cell), pastor@goodshepherdjericho.org.

This Sunday is the fourth of the six Sundays in Lent, and we continue our journey through this season of reflection and repentance. We will follow the Latin American service in our worship – Ann Mallett’s favorite! – as we also bid her Godspeed.

Palm Sunday, April 13, 9:00 am service with communion. The story of exuberant crowds welcoming Jesus with palms turns to the moving narration of the Passion story.
Morning Devotions, Monday through Friday, April 14-18, 6:45-7am Ecumenical Prayer service, led by clergy and members of local churches. Followed by a light continental breakfast and conversation time.
Maundy Thursday, April 17, 7:00pm - service with communion. Worship focuses on the last night Jesus was with his disciples, the foot-washing, and the Lord’s Supper.
Ecumenical Good Friday Walk, April 18, 12:30pm- starts at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Underhill Center, with stops at local churches.
Good Friday, April 18, 4:00pm - Virtual service via Zoom. Candles on a cross are gradually extinguished as the Good Friday story is told. Zoom link is provided via Good Shepherd's e-Bulletin at noon. Good Friday, April 18, 7:00pm – In-person Tenebrae service. Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning shadows. Candles on a cross are gradually extinguished as the story of Jesus' suffering and death is told.
Easter Sunrise Service at Catalyst Church, April 20, 6:30am - brief outdoor service with breakfast following. Pastor Gilles has invited Pastor Chelsea to participate in leading the service. The address is 100 Raceway Road in Jericho.
Easter Sunday Worship, April 20, 9:00am service with communion. Festive worship with joyful hymns and choral music. Easter potluck brunch follows.
